This file is short description how to install ZXVGS on Pentagon (emulator).
ZXVGS is operating system for ZX Spectrum compatibile computers.

Copy all files from this archive to the directory with your emulator then
execute the script "ZXVGSPEN.BAT". Supported emulators are:
 RealSpecterum 0.97.26 (changing "REALSPEC.INI" file),
 R80 0.30 (changing "R80.INI" file),
 ZX_EMUL (changing "ZX_EMUL.INI" file),
 X128 0.92 (exchanging "128TR.ROM", "ZX128_1.ROM" and "TRDOS.ROM" files).

For the RealSpectrum 0.97.26 the IDE interface can be used. Call the script
with /H parameter. However, the IDE interface isn't available in Pentagon
mode, so the ZX128 + Beta128 is used. Also, Pentagon RAM must be manually
changed to 512kB, as there's no proper switch in the "REALSPEC.INI" file.

The "ZXVGSPEN.BAT" script called with /X parameter recalls original contents
of the "*.ROM" files, if they were modified. Do not delete the "*.RO_"
files!!!

After you exchange the "*.TRD" file, select "<Q>uit" from ZXVGS menu.

Since 0.29 release there's a possiblility to create "*.TRD" diskimages from
MS-DOS files with QTRANS0.EXE program. (Diskimage made this way has CP/M
structure compatibile with CP/M for Scorpion.) To add more files to the
"*.TRD" diskimage, copy them to ZXVGS subdirectory then execute:
	QTRANS0.EXE ZXVGS ZXVGSPEN.TRD

Files with archives on HTTP servers ("NNN" are three digits):
zxNNNpen.zip	- archive with ROM files
zxvgsNNN.zip	- archive with hardware independent files
